New Delhi: A surprising case has come to light from the eastern part of China. Here an 8-year-old child innocently made such a mistake, which cost his parents dearly. In fact, the child broke his mother's gold chain into small pieces and gave them to his friends as "gifts." He had no idea what the real value of what he was distributing was.
The incident came to light about a month later, when the child's sister told the parents that a child in the school had asked her to get a gift of gold. The family was shocked to hear this. When they asked the son, he clearly said that he had cut several parts of the chain and given them to his friends.
The most shocking thing is that the child could not even remember where he had kept the remaining pieces of the chain or to which friends he had given them. According to local media, the family was able to recover only a small portion.
The child's mother wrote on social media, “This story may sound like a joke, but it is absolutely true.” She said that this chain was his wedding gift, and her son did not know the value of this precious thing. According to reports, the father even punished the child by beating him in anger. However, legal experts termed this as wrong and said that doing so is against the Juvenile Protection Law of the country.
After watching the CCTV footage, it was found that the child first tried to cut the chain with pliers and a lighter. When he did not succeed, he started breaking the chain into pieces with his teeth.
After this incident, people gave funny reactions on social media. One user wrote, “Explain to him now; otherwise, he will sell the house later.” Another user jokingly commented, “If he has given this gift to some girl, then do not search… She may become your daughter-in-law in the future.”
